Intellectual Property Rights

All content uploaded to CosyCaravan, including listings, images, and descriptions, remains the intellectual property of the respective Owners. Owners grant CosyCaravan a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. Users are prohibited from reproducing, distributing, copying, scraping, or harvesting content from this site without explicit permission from the content owner.


Listing Accuracy: Owners are responsible for ensuring accurate listings, setting expectations for guests, and stating any additional terms or rules on their listing. We expect uploaded images to feature no other watermark prior to the CosyCaravan upload. Property information should be current and up to date.

Owners are responsible for communicating to the guest any changes to the accepted booking, owners should provide alternative accommodations or refunds if the property becomes unexpectedly unavailable.

False Listings: We comply with requests from relevant authorities in cases of false listings or fraudulent activities.

Subletting: Owners are responsible for ensuring they are permitted to sublet their properties before listing on CosyCaravan.

Refundable Deposits: Owners are responsible for returning any security deposit at the conclusion of a guest stay, the time frame for returning deposits should be clearly stated in your listing or communicated to your guest prior to accepting the booking, the conditions needed to qualify for a full refund should be clearly stated.

Guest Responsibilities: Guests are responsible for adhering to the owner’s terms, rules, and restrictions during their stay, for example adhering to the check-out time, treating the property with general respect and a duty of care. Guests should observe and adhere to the max occupancy of the property and not to exceed the agreed guest number. Guests are advised to notify the owner about any breakages, problems or concerns at the earliest opportunity. Guests should assume a no group policy unless specifically stated otherwise, this includes same sex males / females for example stag and hen parties.

Liability Limitation

CosyCaravan shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform, including indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.


Users agree to indemnify and hold CosyCaravan, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their use of the platform or violation of these terms and conditions including but not limited to legal fees and expenses.


Payment Facilitation: CosyCaravan does not facilitate payments between guests and owners. It is the responsibility of both parties to choose a mutually agreed payment method.

Listing Grace Period: New listings have a 14-day free period. After this period, listings can be upgraded to paid status for continued visibility.

Paid Listings: Paid listings retain their reviews and bookings. Payment is processed securely via PayPal.


Guest Account Deletion: Guest accounts can be deleted at any time via the profile page. Note that deleted accounts will still be present in backup data.

Owner Account Deletion: Owner accounts can be deleted at any time via the profile page. Deleted account data will still be present in backup data.

This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our website. By accessing or using CosyCaravan, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We are committed to complying with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, to ensure the protection and privacy of your personal information.

Data Collection and Usage

Personal Information: When you register on CosyCaravan, we collect personally identifiable information, such as your name and email address, to create and manage your user account. Your email address is used for account authentication, password resets, website communication, and notifications related to bookings, direct messages, payments, and membership status.

Optional Information: You have the option to provide your first name and last name on your profile page for a more personalized experience. This information will be publicly visible on the CosyCaravan platform to registered and unregistered visitors.

We also store the personal information you provide in user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Cookies: We use cookies for website functionality, enhancing user experiences, and analysing usage patterns to improve our services.

Data Storage and Security

Backup and Logs: We retain historic data, including backups and audit logs, for all users, both current and deleted. This data may be stored on our hosting provider and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data centres. Access to this data is restricted and may be inspected and exported to aid relevant authorities in combating or investigating fraudulent activities.

Third-Party Providers: We may share your personal information with third-party providers, such as our hosting provider and cloud backup provider, to facilitate our services. These providers adhere to strict security measures to protect your data.

User Rights

Access and Control: You have the right to access, rectify, and delete your personal information stored on CosyCaravan. You can manage your account settings and preferences via the my-profile page ( or request assistance from our support team.

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Verification Process

Owner Verification: Owners who opt for verification will provide their postal address to CosyCaravan for verification purposes. This information will be used solely for verification and stored securely on Google Cloud Platform. Exceptions may apply in cases of criminal investigations where disclosure may be legally required.

Legal Obligations

Disclosure: We may disclose your personal information to law enforcement or other authorities when required by law or in response to valid legal requests, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or harm.

The Platform

Upon account creation, users must select their user type: Guest (seeking to book a caravan) or Owner (advertising their property). CosyCaravan serves as a platform for Guests to find accommodations and for Owners to advertise their listings, including location, pictures, description, amenities, and features.

Website Access: Visitors, both registered and unregistered, can view listings on our website and other channels used for outreach, including social media and marketing campaigns.

Availability and Disruptions: CosyCaravan does not guarantee availability or uptime and may experience unplanned disruptions. We work to restore service promptly in such instances.

Listing Limitation: Each Owner account is limited to one listing. If an Owner wishes to list multiple properties, additional accounts must be created.

Listing Edits: Owners can edit their listings at any time, except for the listing location. Feedback, reviews, and bookings cannot be transferred between listings.

Verification: Owners with paid memberships can become verified, enhancing guest confidence. The supplied address for verification is not displayed publicly.

Message System: The internal message system is not private; sensitive information should not be shared. We recommend exchanging telephone numbers for sensitive exchanges.

Updates to the Privacy Policy

Notification: We reserve the right to update or revise this Privacy Policy as necessary. Any changes will be communicated to you through the website or via email. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for updates, the date on the trailing end of this document will be updated.
